3-D Work Training Site

The 3-D lab is located within the Tplus building, but is run similarly to a Community Based Vocational Training (CBVT) site. 3-D stands for Discover Digital Documents, and training in the lab exposes students to computer employment skills. The lab has 7 computer work stations where students use digital scanners to scan photos, slides, and other materials. Other work tasks include data entry tasks and creating documents with Microsoft Office. Students also work on learning employment skills such as punctuality, work endurance, accuracy, production speed, teamwork, and positive work attitude. The 3-D lab also selects one or more advanced students each semester to act as Lead Lab Interns. These students train other students, work on advanced projects, and assist staff in the 3-D lab in a variety of ways.
