Students participate in approximately 30 hours of instruction, employment and independent living activities each week. The mix of programming varies from student to student. Competitive employment, social service access, individual appointments, court/legal obligations, and other transition related outside activities can be counted as part of a student's programming. Classes and activities led by school staff are held at the Transition Plus site as well as in dozens of community locations. Community sites include work and volunteer experiences that are built into student schedules for a full semester at a time. They also include an ever-changing variety of community resources and recreational sites students visit with their teams.
