Waite House Cafeteria

Major Skills/tasks that student will learn to do at the worksite:

1.  Prepping food, including knife skills.

2.  Plating food.

3. Serving food.

4.  Running dishwasher and cleaning tables.

5.  Stocking silverware container and napkin container.

Level of Job Coach support:  Moderate

Transportation arrangements:  School bus or city bus (depending on ability).  Students go twice per week for approx. 2 hours.

Setting:  The Waite House cafeteria is part of the Phillips Community Center;  The Community Center is home to a food shelf, swimming pool and a radio station, as well as the Community Cafe.
